It has been awhile since we ate Arnold Chicken. It used to have 1 restaurant located at City Plaza and now they are having so many outlets. And Arnold Chicken even offer delivery!
So, we actually wanted to eat Sakae Sushi which is located at Frontier Community Centre. And we chanced upon Arnold Chicken. So why not?
Crowd
It was around 8pm, but the seats were pretty occupied. We were lucky to get seats.
Queueing
The queue system was fast and prompt. And there is a sign saying we need to wait for at least 15mins. Which we also understand why. Because their chicken is "freshly" fried. Thus, they needed more time for the turnaround.
They also had a call number system which makes it easier to wait and collect our orders.
But, there is a sign that mention, for "Takeaway, Please Wait Outisde"
Abit sad right, you wanna dabao then still need to stand outside the restaurant and wait. Although this is good for the eating in customers. But........
Food Review
The Chicken - We ordered the 2 Person Combo Meal and there were 5 individual chicken pieces. We were given
We were hoping for Chicken Thigh instead though.
Because the Chicken Rib meat were abit dry. (We are not a fan of Breast Meat either).
The Whipped Potato - We had French Fries. But can change to French Fries for 20cents.Â
Best of all, you can order Ice Bandung there!Â
Cost Review
Then we turned over and saw some customers having a plate of 2pc chicken, French Fries, Coleslaw and a drink.
We immediate took a look at the menu.Â
So to configure the meal to be similar to a 2 Person Combo Meal.
Ordering 2 x Ala Carte 2 Pc meal + Drinks and 1 PC chicken is somehow cheaper than ordering the 2 Person Combo Meal.
How is a 2 Person Combo Meal more Expensive than this combination we had? *scratch head*
Overall
Arnold Chicken is still tastier than KFC or Popeye in my opinion, as their chicken is freshly prepared thus the waiting time.
Maybe next time I will just order the 2x 2 pc meal combination. Plus, we also cannot finish the 5th Chicken anyways.Â
All these are dine in prices. If you prefer to enjoy your Arnold Chicken at home you can order via delivery too.
Arnold Chicken Delivery
Similar to most fast food in Singapore, Arnold Chicken also offers delivery if you lazy to queue at the restaurant.
And they tie up with Foodpanda for their delivery. So usually their meals are being marked up and you have to add S$3 delivery fee.
The Most Value for Money Arnold Chicken Delivery Menu
So we scanned through the menu, the best valued meal to order online is actually the 1 Whole Chicken Meal - S$12.80.
Similar to what you are paying if you are dining in at Arnold Chicken.
If you are a first time customer and a DBS/POSB Credit Card Holder, you can also get S$15 off your first order.
