With effect from 12 March, Employers are to notify MOM if they introduce any cost saving measures.
This includes employees’ salaries (excluding adjustments to discretionary payments such as bonuses and increments).
This is only required to companies with 10 or more employees.
So if you are in a smaller company. And they decided to cut salary. Then GG for you.
But hor, notify doesn’t mean cannot.
